Dr. Ehizojie Ohiowele
I am a strong leader, strategist, skilled communicator, team builder, negotiator, and manager of people, with a proven track record of performance, an uncanny ability to work under pressure and adapt to new challenges. I am highly ethical, with tested and proven competence and integrity. I am outgoing and sociable, and able to develop strong, productive, and enjoyable working relationships with people from diverse cultural/religious backgrounds. Over the years, I have mentored, coached, supported, contributed, and impacted many people across different sectors/region in business & finance. Consequently, he has built an expansive network of friends and business associates all around the world. I am a speaker/contributor on topical issues and very outspoken about matters concerning nation-building, civic responsibility, and patriotism. I am a member of the prestigious Forbes Business Council and sit on the board of several companies playing in the energy, consulting, hospitality, wellness, and educational sectors of the Nigerian economy.
Outside my professional endeavors, I am actively involved in volunteer work within my church and the community, earning me recognition as a Justice of the Peace(“JP”) from the Edo State government in 2020 for my contributions to community development. In the same year, I was also awarded an Honorary Doctorate degree in Business Administration by the Commonwealth University in the United Kingdom. I am a qualified Project Manager, certified Scrum Master, and John Maxwell coach and speaker. I am an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, a Member of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, a Member of the Institute of Directors, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration.
Having ventured into the political sphere to pursue my passion for good governance and social justice, I ran for the governorship seat of Edo State in the last election cycle under the Labour Party (LP) where I gained valuable public sector experience and actively contributed to policy discussions. My commitment to public service further underscores my dedication to making a positive impact on society.
In my leisure time, I enjoy playing golf, volunteering for community initiatives, engaging in research, writing articles, networking, and traveling. My passion for continuous learning and personal development is evident in my diverse skill set and commitment to excellence.
